PVS FAQ What is a T10C play?
The acronym T10C stands for, "Top Ten Consensus". Sportswire.com's auto correcting database will rank the performance of all the Players in the Public Virtual Sportsbook in order of week to date, month to date and year to date performance. Once the Player's selections have been analyzed for the upcoming games, Sportswire.com's database looks over each upcoming game for a 75% or greater consensus of opinion on each game.

Here is an example of how each T10C qualifier will be shown: "On tonight's Dallas/Buffalo game going at 7:30 EST, there is an 8-2 80% consensus on the point spread winner." Visitors to this page may purchase the selection if they wish.

[NOTE: The basis for a T10C qualifier is as follows: (For, against, pass) 10-0-0, 9-0-1, 9-1-1, 8-0-2, 8-1-1, 8-2-0, 7-0-3, 7-1-2, 7-2-1, (7- 3 wouldn't qualify as it's just 70%) 6-0-4, 6-1-3, 6-2-2, 5-0-5, 5-1-4, 4-0-6, 4-1-5, 3-0-7, 3-1-6].

In addition, and through years of statistical research, the Sportswire.com database has determined that "Handicappers" or "Players" tend to do well in just one major sport at a time. We seldom see a Player ranked in NBA, NFL, and Baseball at the same time. Why? - because, Handicapping is a difficult task and requires specialization. Sportswire.com has delineated each sport and made T10C qualifiers separately to assist in the correct prediction of a sporting events result against the spread.

For example, a College Football T10C is derived from those Handicappers that have PROVEN their expertise in COLLEGE FOOTBALL as documented by Sportswire.com. Why should their opinion even be considered in the NFL? It shouldn't. By specializing in each sport, ranking in each sport, and looking for T10C qualifiers in each sport SEPARATELY, the result is much improved performance statistics against the spread for Sportswire.com's valued customers.
